"LE MAZET DES ROMARINS" 2022 IGP Pays du Gard
Light (only 11% alcohol), fresh-tasting Viognier from Domaine des Romarains.

  £12.95
CÔTES DU RHÔNE 2022 Domaine des Romarins
I have been buying this wine for nearly 30 years, and it is reliably delicious, a genuine - "honest", as the French say - Côtes du Rhône, with good weight and deep colour. Grapes: Grenache, Syrah, Carignan.

  £13.50
VINTUR  Rouge Tradition 2018 AC Ventoux
The estate is a short distance outside Carpentras. The 2016 has all gone, now the 2018 - which I like more than the 2016 - it is fuller, rounder, more complete. Grape varieties: Grenache, Syrah, Carignan, Mourvèdre.
  £13.95

VINTUR Blanc Tradition 2022 AC Ventoux
A blend of Grenache Blanc 60%, Roussanne 25%, Clairette 5%, Rolle (otherwise known as Vermentino) 5% and Bouboulenc 5%. Fresh, peachy, with good length on the finish.

  £13.95

VACQUEYRAS "Carmin Brillant" 2018 Clos de Caveau
This is an outstanding wine, matured in oak barrels, but showing no vanilla flavours. It is absolutely packed full of bright, sunny fruit, and has the potential to age gracefully for at least a decade. The domaine is perfectly sited, higher than all the other properties in the appellation, giving the wine a wonderful freshness (the harvest here is a week later than its neighbours).

  £22.00

GIGONDAS 2020 Domaine Raspail-Ay
Terrific, full-throttle Gigondas with weight and density - benchmark Gigondas.

  £29.50
