QUINTA DO NOVAL Late Bottled Vintage Port 2004 (unfiltered)
2004 was a very successful vintage in the Douro. This is unfiltered, and there may be some sediment - but the wine is fine: still firm, sweet and perfumed. From 2004 onwards this port is made entirely from grapes grown on the estate (previous vintages also used bought-in grapes). Absolutely top quality, ageworthy LBV port - more akin to vintage port than other LBVs.

Sweetish Madeira from a family-owned company. This is bottled sunshine. Superb quality.
